Taronga Zoo – Lights For The WildVivid Sydney’s wildest precinct is back as Taronga Zoo Sydney is lit up once again for Australia’s most colourful festival!
Last year Vivid Sydney at Taronga Zoo amazed, delighted and wowed guests young and old with its incredible giant animal light sculptures. Now Lights for the Wild at Taronga Zoo Sydney is back—better, bolder and more beautiful than before.
A fully interactive and immersive event
For the first time, Lights for the Wild will be a fully interactive and immersive event. Become part of the experience and interact with the light sculptures like never before with a state-of-the-art wristband that lets you become a light for the wild.
Meet a cast of captivating creatures
Come and awe at the giant multimedia light sculptures in the stunning grounds of Taronga Zoo Sydney. Meet the magnificent Sumatran Tiger, the vividly coloured Marine Turtle, a swarm of tiny buzzing bees and a giant Port Jackson Shark that will literally swallow you whole —plus a whole cast of other captivating creatures that will sparkle in the night.
Help Taronga save some very special animals
Each of these incredible installations and light sculptures tells a fascinating tale about conservation. Discover the stories about these beautiful animals and learn how Taronga is working to help save 10 species from extinction over the next 10 years.
Each night there will be a limited allocation of Blue Pass tickets that include a round trip on Taronga's Sky Safari cable car experience. See the zoo like never before and gain a truly unique perspective of Vivid Sydney at Taronga Zoo!

Sessions: Tickets are limited and can be purchased for two session times:
• Session 1: 5.30–7.30pm
• Session 2: 7.30–9.30pm

Taronga is for the wild. As a not-for-profit, Taronga has an absolute commitment to the conservation of wildlife and to securing a shared future for wildlife and people. All ticket proceeds go directly back to Taronga Zoo’s work in conservation and wildlife care.
Ticket price is subject to an additional booking fee and transaction fee.
Children under 4 years are free with paying adult.
All concession & student ticket holders must present valid concession card upon event entry.
